Qipao of Soong Sisters on display in Beijing

A total of 25 pieces of qipao (cheongsam) worn by the famed Soong Sisters: Soong Ching Ling, Soong Mei-ling and Soong Ai-ling , are now on display at the Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling in Beijing. Also on show are handbags, silk scarves, embroidery works that Soong Ching Ling collected during her lifetime, as well as more than 100 photos that narrate lives of the legendary sisters, who were among China's most significant figures in the early 20th century.
