GUIYANG - The Guiyang National High-tech Zone on Friday signed a letter of intent with Imperial College London to build big data laboratories.
Two labs will be built in London and Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. The labs will establish an air micro-environmental monitoring platform in the first phase.
Guizhou is a pioneer in big data in China due to its climate, power supply, and network infrastructure.
The project will help the Imperial College London introduce its research results to the province, said Han Ke, associate professor of Imperial College London.
