Exhibition focuses on China's natural resources

An exhibition of calligraphy, paintings and photos about China's natural resources, which opened on Sep 25, will run until Oct 25 at the Geological Museum of China.

The exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People's Republic of China and Geological Publishing House, entitled "Cherishing natural resources and building a beautiful China" is being held to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China.

The works exhibited include calligraphy of President Xi Jinping's sayings, China's natural attractions and wildlife.

Speaking about the event, Gu Xiaohua, the president of Geological Publishing House, says: "We are holding this exhibition to spread the word about China's natural beauty, and to express our hope for a more beautiful China in the future."
