Chinese 'Jasmine Flower' blossoms among Wellington students

After a class on tai chi fan held by the cultural center a few days ago became popular, the dance that embraces the spirit of martial arts and traditional operas was also welcomed by the students.

"One feature of Chinese folk dances is the combination of skills and emotion. As such dances are inspired by people's daily lives, a manifestation of their inner passion, the emotion is necessary in a Chinese folk dance," Zhang said.
