A model presents creations by Bo Tao & Saint Joy?Bian Huizhong during China Fashion Week in Beijing on Oct 26, 2020. The designs drew inspirations from ancient paintings including
A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains by Wang Ximeng of the Song Dynasty (960-1279),
Birds in Guijiu Mountain by Lyu Ji of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and
Ancient Pictures of Xingfu Temple by Wu Li of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Avant-garde and elegant designs were integrated with Song brocade, an intangible cultural heritage of China, presenting a blended beauty between the traditional and the modern. [Photo/Xinhua]
