Famous scenic terraces drive new tourism

In April, the Samaba Terrace Scenic Spot was officially established and opened to the public, attracting thousands of tourists from home and abroad daily. And in May, it was recognized as a national 4A scenic spot, with an important role in boosting the development of the local tourism industry.

To attract more tourists, different kinds of hotels and homestays have been built to meet growing demand for leisure and sightseeing in southwestern China.

In addition to its tiers of terraced fields, the scenic spot is known for its sea of clouds, forests, cultivation culture and natural scenery.
