China releases new list of wild plants for priority protection

A new list of Wild Plants under the State Priority Protection was jointly released by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Wednesday.
A total of 455 species are covered on the new list.
Of them, 54 species including Qiaojia pine and taxus were included at the top protection level while another 401 species including Fritillaria and Danxia orchid were included in the second protection level.
