Dance academy announces season schedule
The Beijing Dance Academy has announced its dancing season, which will run from November to January 2024.
Ninety performances and over 30 activities will be held in Beijing's theaters, such as Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, the National Center for the Performing Arts and the theater of Beijing Dance Academy.
A diversity of dance genres will be staged, including classic Chinese, Chinese folk, ballet and contemporary dance.
Students of all grades of the Beijing Dance Academy, from the middle school students, to graduate students, as well as young teachers of the school, will perform during the dancing season.
Star dancer-choreographers, such as Wang Yabin, Liu Yan and Hua Xiaoyi, will be highlighted.
Besides performances, the dancing season also features workshops, masterclasses and online events, allowing students and teachers to fully display themselves.
