Giant panda Fu Bao to undergo thorough physical checkup

Giant panda Fu Bao was found to be uncomfortable on Tuesday morning and is under close observation, according to the latest release by the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, which is based in Southwest China's Sichuan province.
The center said it will soon perform a thorough physical checkup for Fu Bao to determine the reason for her discomfort. The center said it will keep publishing Fu Bao's condition to the public.
Fu Bao is the first giant panda born in South Korea, in 2020, to Ai Bao and Le Bao — the pair of pandas leased by China to South Korea in 2016.
Fu Bao returned to Sichuan in April and began meeting the public in June at the province's Shenshuping giant panda base under the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda.
