Voyah first to feature DeepSeek model

Voyah, Dongfeng's premium arm, announced on Friday that it has completed a deep integration with the super popular DeepSeek model, making its Courage the first production vehicle in the automotive industry to feature the Chinese startup's technology.

Starting from Feb 14, users of Voyah Courage will be able to experience the convenience and ease of an AI-powered cockpit through an OTA (over-the-air) update, with more of DeepSeek's capabilities being gradually rolled out in the future.

In addition to Courage, the all-new Voyah Dream will also be equipped with DeepSeek.

Earlier, Voyah's cockpit had already fully integrated the entire series of DeepSeek models.

The Voyah AI assistant will continue to deepen its integration with DeepSeek's R1 large model in the cloud, enhancing voice interaction, scene recommendations, and providing a more accurate, intelligent, and flexible interactive experience.

In 2024, Voyah achieved sales of 85,697 vehicles, marking a 70 percent year-over-year increase and surpassing 10,000 units sold for four consecutive months. Voyah has set its sights on reaching 200,000 units in 2025.
