Tongji University hosts photography contest to promote global exchanges

The first World Youth Humanities Photography Competition concluded on Saturday at Tongji University in Shanghai, aiming to promote cultural understanding and exchange among global youth across national and language boundaries through the art of photography.
Themed "Shared vision, Shared future", the competition was co-hosted by Tongji University and the Confucius Institutes of universities in Japan, Germany, South Korea and Italy.
A total of 829 pieces of work were submitted by 356 youth competitors from 16 countries and regions. Among them, 30 pieces were awarded for their exceptional photography skills and profound humanistic themes.
