Sun Yixue, dean of the International School of Tongji University, congratulated the winners during the award ceremony, emphasizing the importance of fostering intercultural communication, understanding and friendship among young people. He noted that photography serves as a bridge for global youth to connect and exchange ideas.

Alongside the awards ceremony, a special exhibition featuring a selection of works from the competition was unveiled at the university. The photographs, covering subjects such as cityscapes, rural life, traditional dress, cultural customs and natural landscapes, reflect the contestants' unique observations and perspectives on the world.

The exhibition showcased the power of photography to transcend national and linguistic barriers, and the competition will continue to contribute to an open and inclusive communication community for global youth, the university said.
