With the start of the spring semester, a team from railway operation units in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality launched a railway safety education campaign at Chongqing Railway Primary School on Wednesday.
The campaign aimed to strengthen the awareness of railway safety rules and curb hazardous behaviors near rail infrastructure through interactive lectures, quizzes with prizes, and informational pamphlets.
The campaign focused on critical safety risks, such as flying kites or balloons near tracks, climbing barriers, walking on railways, throwing stones at trains, and unauthorized access to locomotives. The goal was to teach students essential railway safety knowledge and enhance their awareness of railway protection.
