Photo exhibit depicts Guangdong's diverse wildlife

A photography exhibition featuring diverse wildlife in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area opened Wednesday in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province.

Nanfang Media Group and the Guangdong News Photography Society organized the six-day exhibition, which brings together over 80 pieces captured by photographers from Guangdong and its neighboring Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.

Photographers traveled over 5,000 kilometers across the Greater Bay Area in 2024 to capture the diverse wildlife through their lenses in collaboration with researchers, conservationists and philanthropists.

The project explores the path toward harmonious coexistence between biodiversity and the world-class urban clusters in the GBA, according to the event's organizers.
