In March 2025, the Zhu Yibing Art Center in Beijing will present a highly anticipated musical event—Zhu Yibing's Classic and Crossover Cello & Piano Concert. This extraordinary concert will transcend time, celebrating a century of Chinese music through a rich and diverse repertoire.

The program features masterpieces by renowned Chinese composers, including Huang Zi's Three Wishes of Roses, Chen Qigang's Where Is He Going, and Wang Feinan's Diary of a Female Sniper, among others. These works not only reflect the essence of Chinese musical heritage but also intertwine historical narratives with deeply personal emotions, each composition carrying its own poignant story.

As an internationally acclaimed cellist, Zhu Yibing is celebrated for his virtuosic technique and profound emotional depth. Through this concert, he will showcase the diversity and artistic depth of Chinese music, bringing greater recognition to original Chinese compositions on the global stage. For example, Huang Zi's Three Wishes of Roses conveys a longing for a better life while paying homage to the pioneers of early music education in China. Meanwhile, Chen Qigang's Where Is He Going evokes powerful nostalgia through its haunting melody, recalling the emotional depth of the film Comrades: Almost a Love Story, and demonstrating the timeless connection between music and human emotions.

This concert promises to be a profound musical journey, allowing audiences to experience the unique beauty of Chinese original compositions while witnessing Zhu Yibing's ability to bridge past and future, tradition and modernity—through the universal language of music.
