Visitors down massive amount of beer

A total of 300,000 people downed more than 76 tons of beer at the 2006
Guangzhou International Beer Festival, which ended in the city on Sunday.
More than 40 leading domestic and overseas brewers took part in the event,
the largest so far in this southern province.
