With 35 years' experience designing pretty pouches for the likes of Prada, Lancome and Guerlian, Parisian Anaik Descamps chose Shanghai to launch her own brand of DIY designer bags and accessories.

Anaik's bags are fashioned from soft leather and can be customized with a selection of-you guessed it-pouches in vibrant colors and patterns joined with detachable silver links. As well as these versatile carry-alls, the petite boutique on Weihai Lu stocks a handpicked selection of oh-so-chic textiles and homeware products from around the world, including Indian pashminas, alpaca throws from Peru and Thai organic candles.
