Universiade Special: Shenzhen looks forward to fraternity and fair-play at Summer Universiade

Shenzhen - As the host city of the 26th Summer Universiade in 2011, Shenzhen will welcome young people from all over the world next year, Vice-mayor Tang Jie said on Friday.
"We are ready for the Universiade in 2011. Shenzhen will become a vibrant place where university students and tourists from around the world can get together. We look forward to the day," said Tang, while delivering a speech at the ongoing executive committee conference of the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
"With the careful guidance of the FISU and unremitting efforts of the city over the past three years, all the preparation work has been proceeding in a highly-efficiently manner," he said.
