Chinese mainland pop singer Pu Shu married Shanghainese TV actress Wu
Xiaomin on Jan. 5.
Pu Shu won six trophies at
the annual Pepsi Music Chart Awards, which was held in Shenzhen in May,
2004.
He won the best male singer, best album and best producer awards, and
his song Colorful Days was one of the top 10 popular songs on the Chinese
mainland last year.
Pu made his first album debut in 1999 and has since won the hearts of
many fans.
Wu plays a secret agent in the TV series Life is Beautiful, which will
soon be shown at prime time on
CCTV-1.
The couple met at a studio, where Pu was making a music video. They
held a low-key wedding, according to the Web site.
Speculation mounted that Pu Shu was on his honeymoon after he failed to
attend the Chinese Music Chart Award Ceremony on Tuesday in Shanghai.
Warner Records, Pu's record company, said the news of his marriage had
not yet been confirmed.
