Supermarket on fire in Hunan

A huge fire engulfs an electronic appliance supermarket in  Xinhua County, Central China's Hunan Province December 18, 2005. No deaths or injuries were reported yet. The fire broke out when a wholesaler in an opposite market accidentally set off his firecrackers which ignited ad banners on the second floor of the supermarket, witnesses said. The wholesalers's booth and four neighbouring ones were also destroyed in the accident. The fire caused more than 10 million yuan of economic losses, authorities said. [newsphoto]
