Egypt maritime tragedy

Egyptian families wait for news of their
relatives in front of the main gate of the arrivals area at Safaga port,
on Egypt's southeastern Red Sea coast. Rescue teams were scouring the Red
Sea for survivors after an Egyptian ferry sank, leaving more than 1,000
people dead or missing in one of the worst maritime tragedies in years.
