Association to promote Olympic legacies in Beijing

BEIJING: Beijing will carry on the Olympic legacies as an dedicated association was founded here Thursday.
Beijing Olympic City Development Association was established as part of the celebration to mark the one-year anniversary of the Beijing Olympic Games which was held from August 8-24, 2008 in the Chinese capital.
The association is aimed to carry on the Olympci legacies while promoting the Olympic spirit, the Beijing Games spirit as well as the Olympic cause.
The association will communicate and cooperate with the International Olympic Committee and the World Union of Olympic Cities, provide Olympic-related aid and conduct researches in a bid to help with the city's development and government decisions.
