中國政府對日本政府“購買”釣魚島的決定做出了堅(jiān)決的回應(yīng)，于周一公布了釣魚島及其附屬島嶼的領(lǐng)海基點(diǎn)和基線。

Territorial coordinates指“領(lǐng)土坐標(biāo)”，是由base points（基點(diǎn)）連成的baselines（基線）組成的，能精確標(biāo)示國家邊境。“領(lǐng)?；€”就是territorial sea baseline。

中華人民共和國領(lǐng)?；€采用直線基線法劃定，由各相鄰基點(diǎn)之間的直線連線組成?；€里面向陸地一側(cè)的水域就是內(nèi)水（internal waters），向海的一側(cè)首先是領(lǐng)海（territorial waters），后面還會有專屬經(jīng)濟(jì)區(qū)（Exclusive Economic Zone）和大陸架（the Continental Shelf）等各種管轄海域。

同時(shí)，中國政府還宣布將對釣魚島及其附屬島嶼開展normalized surveillance and monitoring（常態(tài)化監(jiān)視監(jiān)測）。
