話說(shuō)一半的“對(duì)話藍(lán)球”

大家都很討厭那些說(shuō)話說(shuō)一半，吊起別人胃口，然后各種追問(wèn)都不回答的那種人。這種討厭的行為就是Conversational Blue Balls（對(duì)話藍(lán)球）。

When someone brings up a topic when talking but immediately drops it and refuses to switch back to the dropped topic, leaving the other hanging in the middle of a conversation. This annoying thing is called “Conversational Blue Balls”.

當(dāng)某個(gè)人談話間提到某個(gè)話題而忽然又轉(zhuǎn)換話題避而不談剛才的話題，把對(duì)方的胃口吊在那里。這種討厭的事就是“對(duì)話藍(lán)球”。（注意是藍(lán)球不是籃球哦）

Here is an example of Conversational Blue Balls:

"Goodness, did you hear about what happened?"

"What happened?"

"Anyways, I'm gonna go."

"Wait, what happened?"

"Oh, don't worry about it."

看一個(gè)“對(duì)話藍(lán)球”的例子：

“老天啊，你聽(tīng)說(shuō)發(fā)生的事了嗎？”

“發(fā)生了什么事？”

“沒(méi)什么，我得走了?！?/p>

“等等，發(fā)生什么了？”

“哦，別管那個(gè)了?！?/p>

Dude, Jane TOTALLY gave me Conversational Blueballs yesterday. We were on AIM and she asked if I had heard about the party and she never answered when I asked about it.

老兄，簡(jiǎn)昨天真是給了我一個(gè)“對(duì)話籃球”。我們?cè)贏IM上聊天時(shí)她問(wèn)我有沒(méi)有聽(tīng)說(shuō)過(guò)關(guān)于派對(duì)的事，我說(shuō)沒(méi)有，然后我問(wèn)她派對(duì)的事她再也不回答我了。
