Crude prices surged toward US$100 a barrel due to the weak dollar and concerns about a tight energy supply this winter.

Light sweet crude for January delivery jumped 3.39 dollars to 98.03 dollars per barrel, after earlier hitting 98.50 dollars on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

In London, Brent North Sea crude for January delivery surged 3.21 dollars to 95.49 dollars a barrel.

（國際市場）原油期貨價格自開盤后一路攀升，隨著美元對歐元比價創(chuàng)出歷史新低，交易者擔(dān)心國際市場原油供應(yīng)趨緊等因素影響，油價已接近每桶100美元。至收盤時，紐約商品交易所明年１月份交貨的輕質(zhì)原油期貨價格每桶比前一個交易日上漲3.39美元，收于98.03美元。倫敦國際石油交易所明年1月份交貨的北海布倫特原油期貨價格每桶上漲3.21美元，收于95.49美元。

油價飆升可以說“oil price surge”，原油價格飆升為“crude oil prices surge/crude prices surge”。
