Mela Festival 梅拉文化節(jié)

The Edinburgh Mela was founded in 1995 by members of the city's minority ethnic communities. The first festival was held in Meadowbank Stadium and quickly grew to attract 20,000 people each year. It was the first Mela in Scotland and has gained a strong reputation in the UK. The festival demonstrates ethnic minority arts and culture.

“愛丁堡梅拉”于1995年由愛丁堡的少數(shù)民族團(tuán)體成立。首屆梅拉文化節(jié)在蘇格蘭一個名叫梅多邦克的體育館舉行，之后規(guī)模迅速壯大，每年吸引2萬人參與。梅拉文化節(jié)主要展示少數(shù)民族的文化和藝術(shù)。
