中國倫理學(xué)會(huì)慈孝專業(yè)文化委員會(huì)計(jì)劃用五年時(shí)間，在全國培養(yǎng)百萬4至6歲的中華小孝子，并倡議天下父母要從小培養(yǎng)孩子有孝心，為孩子做孝道榜樣。教育工作者認(rèn)為，4-6歲是培養(yǎng)孩子孝心的最佳時(shí)期。

The special committee of filial piety under the China National Association for Ethical Studies announced on Sunday that it aims to help 1 million children between the ages of 4 and 6 learn about filial piety, which is deeply rooted in China's traditional culture.

中國倫理學(xué)會(huì)慈孝專業(yè)文化委員會(huì)周日宣布將致力于幫助100萬年齡在4歲到6歲之間的兒童學(xué)習(xí)中國傳統(tǒng)文化中的孝道。

上文報(bào)道中的filial piety就是“孝道”，由儒家創(chuàng)始人孔子提出，并提倡，filial piety is one of the virtues to be held above all else（百善孝為先），強(qiáng)調(diào)the responsibility to care for, respect, and obey parents（照顧、尊敬并順從父母之責(zé)）。這個(gè)百萬小孝子工程計(jì)劃培養(yǎng)出100萬名filial children（孝子），盡管original intention（初衷）很好，但100天的培訓(xùn)項(xiàng)目是否真能培養(yǎng)出孝子，就不得而知了。

近年來，中國傳統(tǒng)文化日益受到重視和發(fā)揚(yáng)，例如讓學(xué)生穿上traditional Han costumes（漢服），舉行coming-of-age ceremony（成人禮），給入學(xué)的孩子舉行first writing ceremony（開筆禮）等。
