近日，中西醫(yī)爭(zhēng)論的“戰(zhàn)火”燒到了中醫(yī)診脈驗(yàn)孕這個(gè)話題上。有人愿出5萬(wàn)獎(jiǎng)金發(fā)起挑戰(zhàn)，懸賞能準(zhǔn)確診脈驗(yàn)孕的中醫(yī)。

Doctor who does not believe in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has offered 50,000 yuan reward to any TCM practitioner who is able to predict pregnancy with 80 percent success rate just by checking the pulse, according to a metro newspaper in Chengdu on Monday.

成都一份地鐵報(bào)紙周一報(bào)道稱，一位不信中醫(yī)的醫(yī)生拿出5萬(wàn)元獎(jiǎng)金，尋找僅診脈驗(yàn)孕準(zhǔn)確率達(dá)到80%以上的中醫(yī)。

診脈即check the pulse或feel the pulse，診脈驗(yàn)孕即predict pregnancy by checking the pulse。這位醫(yī)生稱，如果中醫(yī)能準(zhǔn)確診脈驗(yàn)孕，他承諾一輩子不再說中醫(yī)是偽科學(xué)（pseudoscience）。一位具有20多年中醫(yī)從業(yè)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的中醫(yī)師接受了該項(xiàng)挑戰(zhàn)，并豪擲20萬(wàn)擺擂對(duì)西醫(yī)進(jìn)行反挑戰(zhàn)（offered 200,000 yuan as a counter challenge against Western doctors）。
