Andy Lau's contribution to charity is omnipresent.?

He is always one of the first celebrities to initiate donations or benefit performances whenever natural disasters take place.

In 1991, Andy donates 5 million RMB (about?$785,240)?for victims of East China flood. In 2001, he provided 2000 cotton-padded clothes for people in snowstorm-hit Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

In 2008,?Lau donated?100,000 RMB (about $15,704) to victims of?Wenchuan earthquake. Moreover, the?Andy Lau Charity Foundation offered 600,000 Hong Kong Dollars (about?$77,329)?to support Sichuan earthquake reconstruction projects.
