TransWiseway, a Beijing-based IT consultancy for the transportation sector, has recently inked a strategic agreement with Intel, a world-leading semiconductor chip maker, for all-round cooperation in China’s telematics industry. Representatives from the telematics circle discussed the development and outlook of the industry at the signing ceremony.
Telematics, as the most important part of the Internet of Things, covers various parties such as automakers, chip manufacturers, software providers, solution providers and network suppliers. In five years time, China’s telematics industry is expected to be worth 10 trillion yuan ($1.63 trillion). As its industry chain gradually improves, telematics is bound to witness explosive development.
While taking advantage of Intel’s expertise in smart terminal, cloud computing, big data processing and information security systems, TransWiseway will bring its resources, techniques and application practices into full play in order to promote the development of China’s telematics industry.
