Chen Gang, secretary of the Guiyang Communist Party standing committee
Chen, was born in April 1965, in Gaoyou, Jiangsu province and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1986 and began work in August 1990. He graduated from the Harbin Institute of Technology with a major in high polymer materials and has a doctor of science degree and the title of professor-level senior engineer.
His work is as follows:

July 2000-March 2002: Deputy-director, Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Ministry, Beijing.
March 2002-Jan 2003: Secretary, director, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Beijing Sub-council.
Jan 2003- Jan 2004: Deputy-secretary, deputy-district head, acting district, Chaoyang district, Beijing.
