Wang Baojian, born in February 1961, is a male ethnic Han from Zhengjiang, Jiangsu province. He entered the workforce in August 1983 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in September 1984. He is a mechanical engineer, has an in-serve postgraduate education from the Party School of the Central Committee and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
