Kunshan launches security inspection in tourist sectors

Jin Ming, the deputy mayor of Kunshan, and members from other important governmental departments inspected Kunshan Swiss Hotel, Tinglin Garden and Jinxi town on the morning of June 21.

At Kunshan Swiss Hotel, the inspection group focused on the security of pressure vessels, elevators and other hardware facilities. They also inspected the food warehouse, food safety and firefighting equipment. In addition, they emphasized that daily supervision of kitchens and gas uses should be intensified. They also stressed the importance of maintaining clean vegetable pantries. At Tinglin Garden and Jinxi town, the inspection group paid attention to the safety of tourist attractions, entertainment appliances, emergency and drill plans, and other hardware equipment. At the same time, they also mentioned that Tinglin Garden needed to further strengthen management of entertainment equipment to make every effort to popularize safety knowledge and standardize daily operations. At Jinxi town, they stressed that the town needed to promote maintenance of firefighting facilities and improve daily management of tourist supporting facilities.

In the end, Deputy Mayor Jin emphasized that every tourist sector should further enhance efforts for supervising the quality of water, food and firefighting facilities to offer a comfortable and safe environment for visitors.
