Suzhou is part of the third batch of trial cities offering free individual travel for Chinese mainland residents to Taiwan. Suzhou’s municipal tourism administration, in cooperation with Suzhou Youth Travel Services, is organizing an activity that provides guidance and help to Suzhou residents who want to travel by themselves. Suzhou Youth Travel Services can deal with airport pickup and hotel booking for the tourists.

In the future, Suzhou Youth Travel Services will reach a cooperation agreement with airlines and local Taiwan hotels in order to provide preferential prices to the tourists. Suzhou Youth Travel Services also provides in-depth tours and other tourism products, including wedding tours in Taiwan, hot spa tours and bike trips in Riyuetan Pool. During the National Day golden week, the travel service will launch a six-day free individual trip to Taiwan.
