The urban built-up area in the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, achieved a greening rate of 39 percent?in 2014, a big achievement in?10 years of efforts to keep the city green.
However, some districts in the city have struggled to make their districts greener. Chong'an district and Nanchang district had a greening rate of lower than 24 percent?in 2014, slightly lower than the 35 percent?required for a national garden city in 2010.
