Ice and snow cover much of Jilin
Heavy snow blankets roads along the river in Changchun, Jilin province on April 16, 2010. A cold snap hit Jilin during the night, bringing sleet and snow to most parts of the province and creating icy conditions in some areas. The provincial meteorological department issued a yellow alert warning of icy road, saying that light and moderate snow was expected in the central and southern part of the province, heavy in some places, and the roads would be covered with ice and snow.[Photo/Xinhua]
