An international student and his daughter write a couplet in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, Jan 20, 2014. A couplet, or a pair of lines of poetry written on red paper, is an important decoration during Spring Festival, or Chinese Lunar New Year, as it is placed at the entrance of a house.
