Doctors found a toothpick in the heart of a middle-aged disabled woman in Central China's Hunan province, the cause of which remained unclear since the woman cannot talk. The woman, surnamed Zhou, developed symptoms of fever and coughing up blood in early October. She went to the hospital, and an X-ray showed a 6-cm toothpick in her heart.

She had surgery to remove the toothpick, but she could not explain how it happened, rednet.cn reported.
