Four entrepreneurs re-home village for 36 million yuan
Four native entrepreneurs have re-housed a flood-stricken village by donating more than 36 million yuan ($5.9 million) to build 18 townhouses in Xiongkeng village of Shuibei county, East China's Jiangxi province, news.qq.com reported on November 15, 2014.
The townhouses have been built to accommodate all 72 families in the village with nearly 300 people. Each family can move into the new buildings for 30,000 yuan. The eight families who cannot afford the fee have been exempted from paying.
The village encountered a flood in 2010 when more than 20 houses were damaged to different degrees.
