China’s peacekeepers sent to Haiti are all non-war soldiers; their mission is focused on medical-aid, infrastructure constructions and public services. By contract, the US Marine Corps streamed into Haiti after the devastating quake. The American coverage over Haiti has sparked questions in Louisiana with some asking why didn’t the federal government help the people of Louisiana after the hurricane?
