SEOUL -?President Park Geun-hye of the Republic of Korea (ROK)?on Wednesday urged the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to return to the inter-Korean dialogue table.

Park made the remarks during a meeting of the National Unification Advisory Council (NUAC), the presidential advisor on unification.

The?ROK government is ready for a frank dialogue with the DPRK about all inter-Korean issues, but the DPRK hasn't responded to the dialogue offer and only proposed preconditions for talks, Park said.

On the DPRK's nuclear development, Park said it was threatening the future of the Korean people as well as peace in Asia and across the world.

Pyongyang issued a statement on June 15, saying there is no reason not to hold an inter-Korean talks if trust and rapprochement mood is formed.
