Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Selfie Toaster
Continuing its 167-year history of offering the Best, the Only and the Unexpected, Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Selfie Toaster, which indelibly brands its owner's image onto slices of bread.
美國(guó)零售商馬赫爾?施萊默公司(Hammacher Schlemmer)167年來(lái)一直秉承著“只提供最優(yōu)秀創(chuàng)意產(chǎn)品”的商業(yè)理念。近日,公司推出了一款自拍面包機(jī)(The Selfie Toaster),烤好的面包片上能夠清晰地顯現(xiàn)出使用者的頭像。
Crafted from a headshot photograph submitted online, custom stainless steel heating inserts capture a subject's full facial details, enabling the toaster's heating elements to brown light or dark likenesses of the subject onto one side of each piece of toast.
用戶只需在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上提交大頭照,就能定制出符合他們整體面部特征的不銹鋼插片。面包機(jī)在烘烤時(shí),不銹鋼插片能讓面包片一側(cè)的呈現(xiàn)出或深或淺的棕色,從而將人物的肖像印在面包片上。
"It's always a delight when we can help solve problems while having fun," explained Hammacher Schlemmer's General ManagerFred Berns. "The toaster removes any question as to the ownership of the next two slices, hopefully reducing the number of toast tugs-of-war at breakfast."

A complimentary Hammacher Schlemmer insert is included as an example of how the toaster operates; custom inserts will be sent separately approximately two weeks after the customer uploads a high-resolution digital image online using the included instructions.
用戶購(gòu)買(mǎi)這款面包機(jī)時(shí),公司會(huì)贈(zèng)送一張不銹鋼插片作為樣例,幫助他們了解面包機(jī)的使用方式。用戶按產(chǎn)品說(shuō)明網(wǎng)傳一張高分辨率圖像后,定制插片會(huì)在大約兩周內(nèi)送至。
