英國(guó)的“北方經(jīng)濟(jì)引擎”是啥？

“北方動(dòng)力”計(jì)劃指一系列促進(jìn)英格蘭北部經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的計(jì)劃（a proposal to boost economic growth in the North of England），比如，增強(qiáng)交通互聯(lián)（improvement to transport links）、增加科技創(chuàng)新投資（investment in science and innovation）以及下放城市協(xié)議中的權(quán)力（devolution of powers in City Deals）等。計(jì)劃中的核心城市包括：利物浦、曼徹斯特、利茲和謝菲爾德，旨在以大城市群（urban agglomeration）為基礎(chǔ)，將英國(guó)的經(jīng)濟(jì)重心從倫敦和東南部進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)移（rebalance the UK economy away from London and the South East）。
