沒(méi)錢(qián)才吃素的“經(jīng)濟(jì)型素食者”

平時(shí)酷愛(ài)吃肉的同事，有幾天忽然只吃素，你可不要以為他/她變成了素食主義者，其實(shí)，他們只是那幾天沒(méi)錢(qián)吃肉而已。

Economic vegetarian is not a real vegetarian, but someone who only consumes non-meat meals when they can't afford to buy meat, normally in the middle of a month when the last month's salary is all out and the next one is yet to come.
“經(jīng)濟(jì)型素食者”并不是真正的素食主義者，而只是在吃不起肉的時(shí)候才選擇非肉食的人，一般來(lái)說(shuō)，這種素食者出現(xiàn)在一個(gè)月的月中，也就是上個(gè)月的工資已經(jīng)花完了，而下個(gè)月的工資還沒(méi)有發(fā)的時(shí)候。

For example:

He used to be an economic vegetarian but then he got a better job and can afford to buy steak.
他曾經(jīng)一度是“經(jīng)濟(jì)型素食者”，后來(lái)找到了個(gè)好工作，就吃得起牛排了。
