充滿無限可能的“創(chuàng)客空間”

A makerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, hackerspace or hackspace) is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, machining, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and collaborate.
創(chuàng)客空間指的是社區(qū)化運營的工作空間，在這里，有共同興趣的人們（通常是對電腦、機械、技術(shù)、科學(xué)、數(shù)字藝術(shù)活電子技術(shù)）可以聚會，社交，展開合作。

The workshop offers tools, materials, and expertise for people to work on do-it-yourself projects.
這種工作室為人們提供工具、材料、專業(yè)知識，供人們自己動手施展創(chuàng)意。

Libraries have also begun offering “makerspaces” — shared workspaces that provide technological tools and are designed to facilitate collaborative work.
圖書館也開始提供“創(chuàng)客空間”，這種共享的工作空間為大家提供技術(shù)工具，旨在促進協(xié)同工作。

Makerspaces, hackerspaces, and fab labs are popping up left and right both in and out of New York. They’re a part of the growing maker movement, which encourages people to invent and create.
創(chuàng)客空間也稱為hackerspaces或fab labs，在全球不斷涌現(xiàn)。它是蓬勃發(fā)展的創(chuàng)客運動的一部分，鼓勵人們創(chuàng)新。

“創(chuàng)客”（maker）是指出于興趣與愛好，努力把各種創(chuàng)意轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)楝F(xiàn)實的人。在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的背景下，創(chuàng)客又有了新的定義，他們可以利用開源硬件和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)，把更多的創(chuàng)意轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)楫a(chǎn)品。

另外，來自資本市場的熱錢(hot money)涌動，更是讓創(chuàng)客經(jīng)濟一時熱得燙手。在很多城市，都成了創(chuàng)客空間，為創(chuàng)客的創(chuàng)業(yè)和創(chuàng)新提供便利，這也是為經(jīng)濟發(fā)展增添新動力(new driving force)。
