Afterparty or after-party refers to a relaxed social gathering which occurs after a party, concert, or trip to a nightclub.

Afterparty（也寫作after-party）指參加完歡聚派對(duì)、音樂會(huì)或者去完夜店之后舉行的一個(gè)氣氛放松的社交聚會(huì)。

Around the middle of the first decade in the 21st century, media coverage of large, glittery celebrity events such as the Oscar and BAFTA awards ceremonies suddenly started making effervescent reference to the after-party, an eagerly anticipated relaxing and drinking session taking place after the main event. The after-party continues to thrive in 2013, providing yet more fodder for hungry paparazzi and celebrity gossip columns.

在2005年左右，媒體對(duì)奧斯卡和BAFTA等有大批明星出席的頒獎(jiǎng)典禮的報(bào)道突然對(duì)典禮之后的小聚會(huì)產(chǎn)生了濃厚的興趣，這種聚會(huì)通常都很受期待，在主要活動(dòng)結(jié)束后供眾人放松飲酒閑聊。這種小聚會(huì)的勢(shì)頭一直延續(xù)到2013年，為四處尋覓猛料的狗仔隊(duì)和明星八卦專欄提供了更多素材。
